About us

Young company with experienced know-how carriers

The name ecospect is derived from Economy Inspection and refers to our key activities of auditing, analysing and plausibility checks. ecospect GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft was founded in 2013 by Rainer Kiekbusch, who has worked as an auditor since 1999.

The company’s headquarters are in Berlin. From there, we serve our clients throughout Germany. The client base includes mainly medium-sized companies, but also start-ups and corporate groups.

Our consultants have up to 20 years of professional experience in the field of auditing and transaction consulting and have extensive industry know-how. For example, our clients include companies from the service sector, mechanical engineering, the construction supply industry, the IT and Internet sectors as well as private equity companies.

Our range of services is completed by cooperation partners in the areas of tax and legal advice.

The auditing company ecospect GmbH is headed up by its Managing Director and Partner, Rainer Kiekbusch, who would be pleased to address any enquiries you may have.

A graduate in business administration from Friedrich-Alexander-University in Erlangen-Nuremberg, Rainer Kiekbusch began his professional career at one of the large international auditing companies in 1993.

Having qualified and been appointed an auditor in 1999, he founded AIOS GmbH, a medium-sized auditing company, together with a partner in the same year.

In 2013, he founded the auditing company ecospect GmbH. Rainer Kiekbusch has worked in corporate finance since 1993. Key focuses of his activities include company valuations, due diligence reviews and advising on business transactions.
